Ping! Zine Names White as Sales and Marketing Manager

DENHAM SPRINGS, LA (March 9, 2006) – Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine, the longest-running and most widely read print magazine for the web hosting industry, announced today that it has named Devin White as Sales and Marketing Manager.
White, who previously worked for the company in a general management position, holds a BA in Business Management from Louisiana State University.

“As the needs of both our readers and advertisers are changing, I am excited to develop and manage new verticals for Ping! Zine,” said White. “By introducing new revenue generating opportunities and continuing to innovate, we will be able to remain at the forefront of the industry.”

New projects that White will oversee include an online and PDA version of the magazine, new corporate partnerships, and additional online ventures.

“Devin has proven himself as a leader, a trendsetter, and has truly been an asset to our company over the past few years. I am wholly confident that he has the necessary skills and abilities to manage this important aspect of our company,” said Keith Duncan, Publisher, Ping! Zine Web Hosting Magazine.

White assumed his role in late February, and replaced Stacey Simmons, who moved to a management role in the Human Resources department of a software development firm. Duncan says she will be sorely missed.
