ServerPronto Offers 1,000 Mbps Bandwidth Port

ServerPronto (serverpronto.com),a dedicated hosting provider, has introduced a new service - a gigabit port which accomodates 1,000 megabits per second (Mbps) in bandwidth to accommodate traffic spikes.

According to ServerPronto, the gigabit port allows customers to absorb a malicious attack, or massive intended traffic spikes, without adversely affecting mission-critical applications.

Chris Kurzweg, Chief Operating Officer of ServerPronto explained, "ServerPronto's dedicated servers come with a standard 100 Mbps connection, which is 50 times greater than the connections found in most offices. But many of our customers tell us they need more. So we've added a gibabit port option on all of our packages. We know that distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks could come in at 100 Mbps and completely disable most dedicated servers. Our gigabit port connections allow you to withstand attacks."

About ServerPronto
ServerPronto is a dedicated hosting subsidiary of Infolink, one of a few profitable Data Center Corporations in the world. From it's beginning in January 1999, Infolink served the "Value Orientated" segment of the Internet market. Not by offering a sub-standard product at a low price, but by offering a top-quality, feature rich product at an incredible price. Since the beginning Infolink has enjoyed dramatic growth while other's in the industry have suffered. We operate our own network in the USA and maintain redundant Fiber Optic Rings which allow us to directly peer with Tier 1 Internet Backbones.
