Web hosting company Hostroute.com Ltd is celebrating a new milestone in its development. A total of 20,512 web sites are now being served from Hostroute's servers in the UK, US and Canada.

Web hosting company Hostroute.com Ltd is celebrating a new milestone in its development. A total of 20,512 web sites are now being served from Hostroute's servers in the UK, US and Canada.

Founded in August 2000 with an initial investment of £200, Hostroute has grown steadily and now provides services to customers in over 100 countries.

Announcing the news, Managing Director Gordon Hudson said:

"The secret of Hostroute's success has been our ability to respond quickly to customers demands for new services. Also, by operating separate brands in the US and Canada we have been able to build a much wider customer base than other UK internet companies. As a result we have remained highly profitable when other similar companies have run up considerable debts or gone out of business completely."

The company has just launched a new web site at www.hostroute.net which contains information on its business activities and support for charities and other good causes.
